Lucifer
Once known as the angel Lucifel, however, once he "fell" from heaven his
name was changed to "Lucifer." (Only angels can have the "el" at the end of their names). He is the twin older brother of
Michael. He rebelled against heaven long ago and many angels followed him into hell. Now he is King of Hell. His body became
"one" with the land in hell, so that if anything happens to him it happens to the land as well. For some odd reason his body
has become really huge and in order to prevent him from getting any bigger they have to sacrifice a "bride" to him (Kurai
was supposed to be a "bride," but Arakune sacrificed himself instead). Lucifer's body has become an empty shell. Long ago
his soul was taken away by some unknown force and the soul's whereabouts were unknown.
Belial
Lucifer's most loyal servant. Master of flattery, lies and deceit. A fallen
angel who perverted many angels in the heavens before following Lucifer, whom s/he loves passionately, in hell. Her gender
is undetermined and s/he plays on this ambiguous androgyny.
Kurai
Arakune, Voice and Noise's cousin. Her land was destroyed by humans' pollution
of the earth. Her people were then massacred by angels while she was just a child. Alexiel saved her and took care of her.
Kurai has tried to find and free Alexiel's soul ever since she was captured.
Arakune
Though born a man, Arakune feels he has the soul of a woman so he dresses
and acts accordingly. Yet, he suffers much from others' rejection and mockery. Able to understand people better than they
can themselves, he helps people finding out more about their own feelings. He looks after Kurai ever since their people
were massacred by the army of angels.
Voice
The younger brother of Noise who is in love with Kurai. He's very jealous
of Setsuna.
Noise
One of two twin vampires loyal to Kurai. She is the older sister. Belial
marks her with the sign of Lucifer, which puts her under Belial's control.
Asmodeus
He uses and even kills his lovers without any remorse, yet his heart does
bleed for someone...
Astarte
Terrified of her brother who keeps her captive, she wishes above everything
to have her own child. Becoming a mother has become an obsession to her...
Barbero
Can provoke real life-like hallucinations to most men, and lures them with
images of their loved ones. She is better known as Lucifer's first bride.
